EasyCash ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
1. Information We Collect
When you register, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, and a securely hashed password. If you request a withdrawal, we additionally collect your bank name, account holder name, account number and phone number. When you browse the Platform or share your referral link, we automatically log visit data: IP address, approximate country, device type, browser, and timestamps.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use this information to: create and manage your account; calculate and pay out your earnings; detect fraud and enforce our Terms; respond to support requests; and send you service-related emails such as verification codes, withdrawal updates, and important announcements.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your information because it is necessary to perform our contract with you (providing the earning platform and paying you), and because we have a legitimate interest in preventing fraud and keeping the Platform secure.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it where necessary to operate the Platform — for example, with our hosting and email delivery providers — or where required by law.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, as required for legal, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes.
6. Your Rights
Under POPIA, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can update your name, email and phone directly on your Profile page, or contact us at info@easy-cash.co.za for anything else.
7. Security
Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing. All forms are protected against common web attacks (SQL injection, cross-site request forgery). We restrict access to personal data to staff who need it to operate the Platform.
